Jeff Buckley wrote some of the most cathartic lyrics, guitar riffs, and songs of all time.  His beautiful and influential compositions have a profound meaning and as a result will forever be remembered.  My life has been greatly enhanced by Jeff Buckley -- It's amazing how close one can feel to someone even after being introduced to them postmortem. 
 
Albeit your life ceased early, your art will live on for eternity

Words can't express how much your music and message means to me.  Growing up is hard, but your presence in my life has made it bearable, and I turn to you for inspiration and spirtuality whenever I feel I'm being compromised.  Thank you for teaching me to "feel no shame for what you are," and comforting me through hard times with your beautiful voice.  You are the bravest person I've ever known (and I truly feel like I've known you)
